Importing Distribution List

I received an email from a client containing, according to
the sender, an "Outlook Distribution List". When I saved
it outside of the email, it got an MSG extension. I
assume it contains the email addresses of people I'm
supposed to be sending some material to but can't figure
out how to open it or import it into my own address book/
contact list.

Any help would be appreciated.

So what happens when you double click it?
What version of Outlook are you using?
