Importing Design templates in 03

I use ppt 2003 and wanted to get some of the online design templates into
the list to use regularly and could not get them there. So, I downloaded
the ones I liked and then saved each in a different powerpoint file. Now,
can anybody tell me how can I get these 10 new templates available to me
within powerpoint? I would like to see them as choices alng with my other
choices in the right hand column when I click Format | Slide Design. Can
someone help me?

Bob S,
Once downloaded you must save the templates as templates. To do that choose
PowerPoint template (*.pot) in the save as list. PowerPoint will take you to
the templates folder automatically. Save it there. While you are there look
at the path of the folder, click on the listarrow next to save in and take
note of the path. Now put the downloaded files in that folder. Leave
PowerPoint, start up again, go to the slide design task pane, your new
templates should be there in the available list, if you do not see them
there, click on the browse link at the bottom of the pane, which will take
you to the templates folder and choose from there.
