Importing archive data

I archived my Outlook 2003 folders using the default 6 months to save. I
forgot to change the calender settings to 1 year before running the archive.
It would be too time consuming to copy the 6 months calender data one by one,
so I thought of importing the archive file which has about 4 years of data,
then run archive again with the new calender setting. Will this cause
duplicate entries in the archive file?? Is there a better way to do this?

Thanks.

That would really scr*w up things on several levels. Indeed duplicates but
also a not functional AutoArchive as it is based on modified date which will
change as soon as you move the items. If you are really unlucky it will also
create a "ghost" folderset in your mail profile.

Best way to go from here is to connect to the pst-file by File-> Open->
Archive Data File and move the items manually. You can do this easily by
changing to a table view like By Category
