Importing Approach Database into Access

I have an extensive database in Lotus Approach and am in
the process of creating a new database in Access with the
same information. The Approach database has several drop
down lists, automatic dates, etc. I am having trouble
exporting all of the information and coming up with many
hundreds of errors. Any suggestions on how I go about
doing this?

Hi Lorraine,

If the Approach data is in .dbf files it's normally possible to import
directly from these into Access tables. Otherwise, export each table
from Approach to a text file or a dBASE III or IV file and then import
that to Access.

Everything else has to be re-created from scratch using Access's
queries, forms, reports, etc.
