importing a table fr excel, arrows in lines

I import a table from excel to ppt. the middle vertical/horizontal lines of
the table are arrowed. I checked with original table, nothing was wrong. I
can't edit the imported table lines. This doen't happen always. What am I
doing wrong and how can I solve this issue? TIA
