import outlook

I recently had to take my computer in for some work. They saved everything I
had in to a folder called old data. I had to reinstall office 2000. Now I
have Outlook, but I need my old messages and address book. I can't seem to
import this information. I have found the file they created called Outlook.

Don't import; just connect to the file by File-> Open-> Personal Data
File...

You said you could't import; what happens when you do try it? Error message?
