import new data in tables

I'm totally new to Access. My Access tables will constantly have data added
,and data updated on the webhosting server. I will download that data to my
computer. Then open it the first time.
If I don't want to add queries, forms, etc. to the hosting server, but only
in my computer, do I then, after having opened the database 1st time import,
download or whatever the right name is , the tables in my open access
database? So that only the tables would change but not the queries, forms etc.

In what form will the data be downloaded? As a comma separated text file, a
spreadsheet, a MySQL database file, ...?
