import/export option disabled in outlook 2003

i installed office 2003 when i am trying to import the my address book in
excel
in file menu is disabled.
import/export option is disabled in outlook 2003

The Address Book in Outlook does not exist - it is simply a "view" of your electronic email addresses that are in your contacts folder. You will need to export your contacts folder to excel, not the address book.
