Import/Export Greyed out

Using Outlook 2002 SP3, Win XP SP2.

Under file menu, the import/export option is greyed out.

Have tried doing 'run all from my computer' under control panel, add/remoce
programs, outlook but no change.

I'm trying to import from excel.

Does the Office installation indicate that the Importers and Exporters have
been installed? If so, have you tried removing then, restarting, and then
readding them?
