Import email to addresses from word docs to email distribution lis

Does anyone know of a routine that will allow me to get email addresses from
different word docs into an existing distribution list? There must be
something easier than copy/ paste in each individual word doc

What are you trying to achieve?
Why are those addresses in Word docs to begin with?
It is hard to suggest something without knowing the scenario in which this
plays.
There are data collection tools that can search for addresses in various
documents though;

When I've done quotes for my business over the years the email addresses were
in the quote. I did not think ahead about adding them to my distribution
list. Now I have probably 100 of them in these individual word docs that I
would now like to capture in out into my list...

There is no way Outlook can find these automatically in various documents.
You'll need an address collection tool that can search in Word documents;
