Import .csv, leading zero suppression

Is there a switch/option, where I can tell Excel not to
suppress leading zero's from columns imported via a .csv
file, without going through the import text/csv process,
selecting text vs number for each column/field ?

I don't know of a switch.

However, you don't need to select "text vs number" for each field in
the Import Wizard -- you can do it once by selecting all fields before
making the decision.
