IMMEDIATE LOGOFF

Help! I had to post this from another cpu. I ran Mcafee
virus scan and removed several email viruses, none that
were marked as critical or dangerous. Then when I
restarted, as soon as I enter my password, windows loads
for about 1/2 second and then logsoff automatically and
takes me back to the logon screen. Does same thing as
admin. Tried safe mode, system restore, nothing works.
Saw a post that someone else had this problem and said it
could be a virus, but I had just scanned and removed all
viruses. Could I have deleted something from registry?
Why would it cause this?
This is an OEM windows, so I don't even have a cd.
Have all my business files on the cpu. HELP!
