iMedia memory upgrade

Can you help?
I need a memory upgrade for my Packard Bell-iMedia 1308 but cant find one
anywhere........ive tried the Packard Bell website but no luck.
Ive got 2 games & cant play either as i dont have enough memory(i think
thats the problem) I checked my system info & i only have 480Mb RAM. How do i
check for game/computer compatibility?

In spite of the tendency of people to talk about mega-GB of memory as
if these were essential, I don't think that 480MB qualifies as "only"
for most purposes. Rather than assume that memory shortage is your
problem, check out the games' memory requirements and see if in fact
they exceed what memory you have. You don't give any symptoms of the
failures, and there could be other reasons for your games to fail. For
example, your video card may not up to the task.

operating system 98-2000-ME-XP*processor 1.5GHz*memory 512Mb RAM*3D card

higher*sound card directx 8.1 compatible*hard disk 2GB free*peripherals

The 2nd is Silent Hunter 3:
operating system windows XP 2000*processor 1.4GHz or faster*memory 512Mb*3D
card 64 Mb*DirectX DirectX 9 or higher*dvd-rom drive 4x*sound card DirectX 9
compliant*hard disk 2 GB*peripherals keyboard/mouse*multiplay LAN up to 8

i'm not sure which of these i have/havent got but after i installed
Alexander & tried to play it, nothing happened.....just the alexander loading
screen for about a sec but then it disappears

With these 2 statements, it really makes it hard to help you. not much to
gone on.

No matter. According to you, you are short of the needed RAM!!

I would boost your system to at least 1G.
don't know for sure if that is ALL of your probem but certainly one problem.

You gave game requirements. I don't r,member if you gave your computer
configuration other than 480 mb RAM!!

what video card, how much hard drive space, processor speed, etc.??

You' have to match them up!! How would I know what you have??
