IME Pad

I have installed MS IME so I can read/write in Japanese and it works
converting properly. However I have had no luck getting any response when
selecting ime pad on the toolbar. Program running seems to have no effect.
What do I need to do to get IME PAD to display?

You're doing better than me! I've been unable to get the Japanese IME
installed. For some reason, unknown to me and apparently not understood by
Dell either, my computer is "failing validation"?? (Microsoft Office
Professional Edition 2003, Validation Failed)
The message coming up is that the "product key used to install Office has
been blocked by Microsoft".
I don't know what this means or how to correct it, so that I can complete
the process of installing the IME. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry Stu but I do not know what is happening to you either but would
venture to guess that its detecting a illegal copy of Office.
You might try in a more general MS site.
