It is best to only use standard fonts on web pages and make font-gifs with
your image editing programs for special titles, buttons etc. See my home
page for an example of buttons made with Fireworks. http://www.eleanorstravels.com/index.html
The Eleanor's Travels title is a text gif.: http://www.eleanorstravels.com/fireworkstut.htm
Don't try to imbed fonts.

One doesn't. The only way to do it would be to make the text into a graphic
element, with associated problems. There are only a few fonts that you can
safely use on webpages - the list is shown here -
Don't try to do this. It really annoys users if they are prompted with
warnings about downloading binary components. Also, it bloats the size of
the page and thirdly, it only works in Internet Explorer. Other browsers
default to Times New Roman if the font is not already installed.
