ImaSrv.exe Service

Tina

I run 2 terminal servers. Every now and again, one or
both of the terminal CPU's will spike 100% with the
ImaSrv.exe process on top. Does anyone know what this
process is or what it controls? Does anyone know what
the repercussions are if I killed the process? I
appreciate any advice.

Thanks

You are running Citrix MetaFrame on top of TS, aren't you?
IMA = Independent Management Architecture
I'm not 100% what it does exactly, something to do with load balancing?
Killing it does not seem to be a good idea.

How long does these spikes last? Short spikes shouldn't be a problem for
performance.
