IMAP Email and Default Inbox

In OL, you know that Inbox that is there as soon as you setup an identity?
When I set up an IMAP account, how come it creates its own separate Inbox,
instead of using the default inbox? Do only POP3 accounts use the default
Inbox?

Yes. IMAP uses its own .PST.

Oh, I get it. I had previously thought that there was only one .pst for each
OL identity. So that means http mail also uses its own .pst. Thanks.
