IMAP e-mail account and deleting messages from inbox

Hi,

I am running Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista and have just started to use an
email account which runs on IMAP/SMTP and I have a couple of questions:

1. How can I get the email messages to go into my general inbox rather than
the specific inbox for my email account?

2. When I delete or move a message from my email inbox, a line goes through
the subject and it greys out, but does not get moved, so I have to
Edit - Purge to remove from the screen - is there any way this can be done
automatically which happens with non IMAP email accounts?

Thanks for your help

No there isn't. You can set it to purge when you move from one folder to
another, but that's your lot!
