Images on report: which format?

Hello,
I designed few graphics to be used in a report to give it a better look.
All the graphics have been designed in .png files and then exported in .eps
files.
Each time I preview the report I get few black vertical lines on the right
side of some of the pictures (and not always on the same picture...) and when
printed most of this lines doesn't show up on paper (which is a good thing,
since I haven't created them!). They just make kind of "odd" the viewing on
the monitor. And just one or two get printed as well. Sometimes get printed a
line that there isn't in the report preview (???)
Does anyody know what's going on? Since all these strange behaviours, I'm
pretty sure is something misfunctioning in Access...
Which is the best formt to go with Access report? GIF? PNG? EPS?
Thanks,
Rocco

Thanks, BMP could be a good deal for a "monitor" experience but not really
for printing, which is the main use of reports which I should accomplish with.

Check the settings of the Image control in which you're displaying the
image -- you may need to change the setting for SizeMode property of the
control.
