Images not showing

Could someone tell what I need to do to correct this
problem. When I go to internet sites, for instance Wal-
Mart, the images or pictures does not show up. It shows
up with a box & inside the box is a red square, blue
triangle & a green circle. I would appreciate any info
that would help to correct this. It just started doing
this recently.
