Would you please let us know all the things that you have already tried?
Knowing what you have already tried will help us to narrow down the steps to
help to resolve your problem faster. Also if there are any error messages,
we will need to know what they were. Additionally, what version of Windows
are you running? This information will really help. :)

You might try updating your video drivers. You can find them on the website
of the mfg. of your video driver. IF you don't know what it is, or where to
look for it, download and install the program below, it will tell you a of
information about your computer that might be helpful as well.

Belarc: Free

Here are some programs that you can download and try and see if they help
with your problem. Please read and follow all the instructions carefully.

Red X Instead of Images:

Try clearing the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

You might also try doing a repair of the IE, Open Control Panel | Add/Remove
Programs | Select and highlight your MS IE version in the list, then click
the Add/Remove tab and when the dialog box comes up, select the Repair
Internet Explorer and then click OK. Let it run the repair. It might also
be a good idea to install the latest version of Microsoft Virtual Machine if
you have not yet done that.

Here's some MS and other articles you might check too:

I can't see JPG's or GIFS any more - red x - images missing - fuzzy
images/distorted images:

It is possible you may have parasites, spyware, adware,
malware, or hijackware on your system causing the problem.
Download and install, you *must* update the programs prior
to running to be sure they have the latest definitions, then
run the programs below. They are free and very effective.Be
sure to run both SpyBot and Adaware, as what one does
not detect the other may. It is important that you follow all
directions carefully:

SpyBot Search & Destroy: Free

or

or

Hope this helps :)

Right click on the graphic you see and a pop up menu should appear. Select
"Show Picture" option.

Then, go to Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Show Pictures - check option if
unchecked to display pictures all the time.

Hope this helps
