In Outlook Express, when I receive e-mails that have images in them such as
a subscription to circuitcity.com, none of the images are being displayed,
they just have a red X in the upper lead hand corner. Can someone please
tell me the setting that I have to change. Thank you.

Maybe it is a linked image. Change the security option in OE so it no
longer blocks linked images. Realize, however, you then become
susceptible to web bugs buried in HTML-formatted e-mails. Linked images
will make opening an e-mail take longer because your computer has to
contact their server to download the image file so it can be rendered
within the HTML page. Are the red X'ed images really important, or are
they just fluff on the page? Maybe you should contact the sender of
these e-mail and tell them to stop using linked images in their e-mails
and instead embed the images so they are inline.
