Images folder not visable with Intranet site

T

Todd J. Knapp

I am currently working with FP2002. I am having an
exceedingly difficult time trying to browse to my Images
folder on our local Intranet.

When I browse to the the intranet web folder, nothing
shows up - no folders, no files. Nothing.

Is there a way to get past this mission critical stumbling
block?

Cheers!

Explain what you are doing in FP in detail

PS - by default folder browsing is turned off in IIS

See trouble shooting web folders
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=287402

But to edit an image in a theme open the web in FP w/ the theme applied
Import the new image into your FP web using File Import
(or copy the old image out of the FP web and edit it w/ your image editor, then import it)
Format Theme Modify Graphics - select your new image and save as a new theme name

Don't use web folders to try to edit a FP web or you will probably clobber the FP web

| Gotcha. (Thanks for the reply.) I am trying to change a
| graphic in my intranet web's theme, particularly with one
| of the bullets. BTW, internally I am using IIS5 and
| Windows 2000 Pro and Windows 2000 Servers.
|
| When I click the Browse button, the web folder for my
| intranet web site is blank. When I look under the folder
| list of FP2002, everything is there - files and folders.
|
| So, when I go in to Windows Explorer and look under my web
| folders, I see the folder representing my intranet web
| site. Similarly, it is devoid of files and folders.
|
| So, this looks more like a web folder issue than a FP2002
| issue.
|
| But, do you have any suggestions/ideas?
