Images disappearring and re-appearing

I am having a problem with images showing up on my screen. I am in Print
Layout and I have "Picture Placeholders" unchecked and "Drawings" check in my
options menu. Basically the images are there but completely disappear at
times. They show up fine when I click on them but when I scroll the next page
and back the images go away. The all print fine and I have no concerns there,
but its really annoying. My computer is only a month old and is a pretty high
quality computer but I don't get this problem with Word. I don't think this
happened right away, it seems to be a more recent thing (in the past week or
two). Any thoughts???

Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control Panel
| Display | Advanced | Troubleshooting.

That didn't seem to do it...I am going to reboot again just to make sure but
I am still having the same problem. I had never seen anything like this with
my old computer so I don't understand what the problem is.

Update the driver for your video. I had the same problem. My problem was
due to the incompatibility of the original graphics driver with recent ATI
display adapters and the Intel®82915G/82910GL Express Chipset. The site for
