Image Quality

I am using Access 2003 to create reports in pdf format (using Acrobat's "press quality" settings for the images) - containing jpg images and am having problems with image degradation (not distortion, but "pixelation"). Does Access 2003 reduce image resolution when creating reports? Does it automatically convert the image to a bitmap? If so, is there a way of progammatically ensuring that the image type and resolution remain the same as the original image file?

Lyle:

1.) Make sure that your image is set to use the "Clip" display mode rather
than stretch or zoom. This will normally result in the image retaining
fidelity. 2.) All images are normally converted to bitmaps when they are
sent through the Windows GDI system (for all image systems.)
3.) Increase the dpi level used as the default with Adobe's printer driver
and see if that also helps.
