Image problem

L

Lawrence Beyer

With front page open, I opened four images
in Paint and made some minor changes. Then
I published changed pages. When I looked at
my website on the internet with IE, the bottom
three fourths of one of the images was solid
red. It looked OK when previewing in browser.
I then deleted the page at the remote (both
..html and .JPG) and published again and the
image went back to normal, viewing with IE.
Some time ago I downloaded Firefox so I
could check to see how my website looks
in Firefox. Well I checked my website and the
red is still there in Firefox.

I couldn't find anything on refreshing
Firefox browser, but I did see where I
could clear all history by clearing the
cache, so I did that and and the red is
gone and the page looks normal like in
IE. Thank you for pointing me in the
right direction.

In case I need to know in the future,
how do I refresh Firefox browser?

I got the same problems with themes, I see them on some displays, but not all. In the browser it is very nice but on some displays I do not see the collors :(

I tried that first. It didn't solve the problem.
As I said before, I had to clear all history by
clearing the cache.

What type of image is it? Internet Explorer will display non-standard image
types. You should only use JPG, GIF, or PNG images in a web site.
