Image paths don't publish properly

I created a 6 page web, and all of my image files are saved in the images
folder within the web.

When I publish the website, however, the paths don't change properly and the
image paths still read to my hard drive, rendering the site useless to anyone
not sitting at my computer.

The dialog box to save embedded images always came up, and I always saved
the images. If I manually change the path to my online images folder, I
can't see the images when editing my documents. If I leave the image paths
that FP puts in, when I publish to web they still read the images from my
hard drive.

What's going on here? What can I do to fix this?

Always open your FP web (not just a page) to edit a page

I do, as far as I know. What can I do to remedy this problem now that it
already exists?

Try this:
Open FrontPage from the Start > Programs menu
Click File > Open web ( open site in FP 2003 )

Open your web site and then click Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Then publish.

Ok, maybe we're getting at the problem here. When I click "open web" and
then select my web, which is just a folder (it does have the little globe on
it and everything), it's basically opening nothing, because I haven't chosen
anything within the folder.

When I open web, should it automatically open all the pages in the web?
Because it doesn't open anything, really.

Also, I've tried the recalculate hyperlinks, but I'm opening each page
individually and manually, so maybe that's why it's not working?

Try this:
Open FrontPage from the Start > Programs menu
Click File > Open web ( open site in FP 2003 )

Open your web site and then click Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Then publish.

Be sure that you have IMPORTED the images into an inage folder within your
site before you use them on your pages.

After opening FrontPage, Selecting open Web and browsing to the folder you
need to double click it to open the web.
FrontPage will not open a page for editing unless you either double click
the file name or right click and select Edit.

Also, the folder "should" have a blue globe on it. If not, "before" you
double click to open it, right click it and select "Convert to web.
