I have my download photos with the number below each picture to identify that
photo. I'd like to print the page or pages that is shown on the monitor
screen. Not printing each individual picture, but what is on the screen.
Here is what I did.

1. Dowloaded my photos. Than I click thumnails to view my photos.

2. I click on "prtscn sysRq" on my Microsoft keyboard. Than I open IrfanView.

3. Than I click on the drive that contain my Photos

4. Looking at the top of the screen for my printing option - there is none.

Note: I'm told to click on PRTSC SysRq button, than open IrfanView. Than
insert
Crtl + V. I did and nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong. I would appreciate if someone would give me a
step by step on how to get this done. I do have Irfanview software in my
computer.
Thank you.

I have followed your guidance. But the problem I am having now is getting my
screen on the clipboard. I did click on PrtScn Sys Rq, than I open
Irfanview. Clicked on Edit, but I had no paste option. I'm having problem
now getting my screen on the clipboard. Please send me a reponse on

It sounds like the PrtScrn key on your keyboard isn't working.

If you just want to capture what's on the screen, use Vista's built-in
Snipping Tool instead. Go to Start menu, Accessories, and select Snipping
Tool. When the Snipping Tool toolbar appears, go to new, Full-screen Snip;
or select a smaller area of the screen as desired. You can then save the
snipped image as a JPEG, GIF, PNG or MHT file. Or if you really want to
cut-n-paste into another program, go to Edit, Copy in the Snipping Tool
menu.

In Vista the PrtScrn key unnecessary, for screen capture - Snipping Tool
replaces that function. Although, PrtScrn and Alt-PrtScrn should still work
(there's no need to call it "PrtScrn SysReq", by the way .... plain
"PrtScrn" is the normal name for this key).

If you really want to troubleshoot the PrtScrn issue, here's some other
things to try ...

If you have a desktop machine with full-sized keyboard, try swapping the
keyboard with another one (borrow one from a buddy, etc). Then try PrtScrn
again with the new keyboard. Maybe the key is broken on the old keyboard,
this will show.

If you have a laptop, you may need to use the PrtScrn key in combination
with teh Fn key on the laptop's keyboard, in order to activate the Print
Screen function. Pressing PrtScrn on its own may have no effect. This si
reasonably common. Check the user manual for your laptop.

Be aware this is a user forum - just a bunch of fellow Vista users, all
helping each other out. No-one here is paid by Microsoft to give you any
help. So, don't expect any email support - if you want that, you'll need to
open a Service Request with Microsoft PSS - see
http://support.microsoft.com/select/?target=assistance

Hope it helps,
