I just looked back on a few threads I've started in here recently and on
second reading they appear quite harsh.

I doubt many people will read this, but for those who do: sorry.

Hey C# Learner,

I've been reading them.
I'm a relative newbie too.

I think anything "new" (or new-ish) will have its critics and it's important that
there exist such people, even if those criticisms might not always be justified.
Otherwise developers will be happy with what exists and there will be no push to
introduce new, perhaps better technologies.

I'm as happy reading rants and gripes as much as praise for C#/.Net because I'll know
that if the NG offers advice, it'll generally be unbiased.

This NG seems to be pretty friendly on the whole, and perhaps more importantly, very
helpful.
