I'm probably crazy for asking

Dianah

The answers to these might be "no", but I have to ask ... just in case I
missed something.

1. Is there any option for colour gradients from within Frontpage for table
fills or backgrounds.
2. And.... is there an option for rounded corners on a table cell.
3. How about a little shadow edge along a border.

I apologize if these are insane questions. Thanks for any help in advance
.... or for just saying it can't be done, so that I stop looking for it.

2) & 3) are added in FP2003
1) is done thru customizing a theme as per

Stefan,
Is it possible to apply a gradient background using FP 2003 by itself? I
don't even know what "Windows SharePoint Services" is.

Doesn't matter what the technology is
- it's done w/ images generated in an image editor with the gradient applied
(that are applied as cell or table background images)
Can also be done w/ IE CSS Filters (view source at http://web.tampabay.rr.com/bmerkey/examples/scalable-gradient.html)
Or activeX tools (like http://sgrad.cjb.net/)

Stefan,

I'll look for the rounded corner and the shadow edging on the border in help
.... should be there. I've done some neat stuff with the borders but I can't
say that I've seen anything that resembles a shadow, per se.

I might have similar questions to Suzy on the sharepoint services. I don't
have that installed ... it's just my pc at home on WXP, so it might not be
an option.

Thanks for your input.
Thanks.

If using FP2003, the SharePoint Service that is being referred to, is a service of Windows 2003
server and is not available under Windows XP Pro / IIS.

I figured as much, but wasn't entirely sure which is why I told you I was
running WXP. I figured that would trigger the right resposne from you.
