Puppy Breath

How long has Vista been installed? It might be building the search index or
something.

Is there way I can tell what specific service or program is running, and how
much of my resources are being used by it? I'm looking at my CPU monitor,
and it's been maxed for a half hour? In the Task Manager is see changing
numbers in the CPU column. Windows Explorer for instance is ranging between
91 - 98? Just Curious, because I'm not using it at the moment. In addition I
have 4GB of RAM - Thanks for your help, IM

Try task manager and add the memory and virtual memory columns.

Yeah, that's SuperFetch at work... well, if I read your subject text.
Reading your body text looks like you're talking about CPU being maxed.
Which is it? Memory or CPU?
