He's gorgeous
So bummed that I missed this thread first time 'round but congrats to the three of you, he looks bloody marvelous
& don't worry 'bout the teenage years everyone freaks about, my boy is 14 going on 15 now & he's still quite happy to give his Mum a hug (when his mates aren't around of course) and talk Skyrim etc with one Dad & boats with the other. They just need space sometimes is all.
I know everyone says it, but they really do grow up so much faster than you think (especially at 3am in the morning). I think I was lucky in one way in that when I first met John mine were 4 & 9yo & his youngest was just leaving home so I got to see just how devastating the 'empty nest syndrome' really is & really did take that particular piece of advice to heart. I'll never ever regret it. So many moments that could've slipped by in the tedium of normality or gone a different way if I hadn't had that preview of just how short a time we have them before they are off into the world. You are so lucky, I wish you & the missus a happy parenthood & am sure Theodore has a happy childhood ahead of him
Oh, & as to all those embarassing photos, never forget that the 'parental contract' requires that we have a good selection in preparation for 16th, 18th, 21st birthdays, first girlfriends, and if opportunity presents, weddings so snap away as hard as you can
