I'll ask this again.....FP03 design view problem

Any reason why FP03 does not show my <noscript> content in design view like
FP2K did? It shows it in preview mode, but in design view, there is nothing
but air shown.... FP2K would show the page almost the same in preview mode
as preview in browser would. This is not an upgrade as far as I'm concerned.
There are many useful new additions to the software, but this one area
certainly is a step backward if there's no fix for this.

That's just great. I thought upgrades were supposed to ADD features, not
remove them. This missing feature is so annoying, it may make me go back to
FP2K. I can't believe they'd remove something like that. I used it on EVERY
page.

Thanks for the information.

so I guess you didn't like the outlook 2000 to 2002 thing either? ;-)

I've found that this kind of thing crops up here and there in the software I
use from all vendors. usually there's something new that makes up for the
stuff that's lost. never was that as pronounced as was the FrontPage
2002/2003 change (IMHO).

Actually, I've never used Outlook until now (I have no choice now, until I
figure out how to fix the problem it caused). I installed Office XP and it
corrupted my Outlook Express. I couldn't open emails, although I could
download them (meaning there was no other way to view them since they were
no longer on the server....Webmail and Outlook were not an option at that
point) I had to re-install it. When I did, I had no more address book. My
address book is now in Outlook. I can't export it from Outlook and I can't
import to Outlook Express. Also, every time I try to open a site in FP 03,
it tries to install FP XP (I know, it's the same thing but I had 03
installed already and the other version came as part of the Office XP
install and even though I unchecked FP as an installed option, it did it
anyway). No matter if I click OK or Cancel, the next time I try to open a
site, the install program starts all over again. I'm liking this "upgrade"
less and less.

You may have missed my other response (or maybe it never went through).

Can you paste a page with the code you are talking about? I'd like to
understand your scenario better.
