Hi I am Bharkavi, I tried to install IIS in my system. I am using win xp professional and I tried to install IIS for working asp.net, but it is giving the message "some files on windows xp professional service pack 2 cd are needed. Insert windows xp professional service pack 2 cd into the drive selected." I have already installed service pack 2 and I tried installing some missed dll files , but now it is giving message "unable to copy davcdata.exe".

Can you try coping the WinXP cd to a folder on you hard drive, and see if all of the files transfer ok? Try pointing Windows to that folder rather than the CD when it asks for the files and see if that works :)

If not, it will narrow down the problem.

hey I am bharkavi, thanks for your reply. The problem is that i don't have the cd, otherwise i could have rectified it.
