IIS 5.0 ASP stops working

Hej

I am the administrator of my schools weserver, whre the students has their
websites.

Lately i have experienced that ASP stops working. I think it happens after I
create or delete virtual sites. Not all sites are down, it seems to be
random.

The logfile has the following:
GET /Default.asp |-|ASP_0145|New_Application_Failed 500 0 227 359 31
HTTP/1.1


In most cases, a restart will fix it, but sometimes, I had to reinstall
FrontPage ServerExtension.


Anyone else have seens this and knows the solution.

How did you reinstall the FPSE? Are you using FPSE 2002 or 2000? What service pack are you at on the server?
