If you're posting here, the problem is prolly hijackware!

Check your system for "hijackware":

CoolWebSearch Chronicles & CWShredder

Run in this order:

1. CWShredder (fix all)

2. Ad-Aware (fix all)

3. Spybot (generally, fix all in red)

Important: You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each
and every use, even "right out of the box". But even they can't catch
everything, 24/7. When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or
http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30 for expert analysis, not here.**

[Alternate download pages for many of the above tools may be found at
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm.]

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?

Great Advice. You should "CAP" the subject line and
maybe change it to something that will catch the eye. :)

Good advice; unfortunately, sometimes you can't access these Websites,
because hijackware changes your system so it can't find them.

If you can't find these Websites, but can find ones like yahoo.com,
then you need to rename your hosts file.

1. Look for the file called, "hosts" (use Windows Explorer to find
it. Different versions of Windows have it in different folders).

2. Change the name from "hosts" to something else, such as
"oldhosts".

Now you should be able to find these Websites.
