Please let me know if your in need of an antivirus solution for Vista, as I
know one of the few virus checkers that work for it, plus I would recomend
it to anyone who is looking for a antivirus solution.

Again, I will standby and wait for your emails to pour in so I can answer
your questions and help out.

Sincerely,
Jonathan

Why "standby and wait for your emails to pour in"? That's not how a news
group is supposed to work. Why not just post your solution? Or, better yet,
read one of the numerous threads on this subject that have been posted here
over the past several months?

If the solutions are that "few" then wouldn't it be just as easy to post a
list of them, with your thoughts as to their relative strengths and
weaknesses? That's how groups like this typically work you know.

What I recomend is getting NOD32, as it is the most reliable virus checker
on the planet, and now they are in the beta testing stage of their new
security suite which should be pretty awesome, once it's released. I've
used NOD32 since they first came out some years ago, and have yet to be
infected by a virus, Not only will it work on vista, it runs on older
systems such as Windows 95 and Windows 98, but that is only if you download
that version from their website, as they have a few version avaiable to the
public. To learn more please visit Http://www.eset.com

I am here to answer questions for anybody who has them please feel free to
keep contact with me if needed.

Thank you,

Jonathan

I agree with you, NOD32 is probably the best antivirus application I have
ever used. Their new version 2.7 works flawlessly under Windows XP or Vista;
however, there is one confirmed issue with the new version. My son, wife and
I all play Knights Online (KOL) and the new version 2.7 will not allow
Knights Online to operate properly under Windows XP or Vista. As soon as we
upgraded our two XP machines to the new version 2.7 it (KOL) ceased
functioning; and as soon as I installed NOD32 onto Vista KOL stopped working.
Turning off NOD32 under Windows (XP or Vista) will allow KOL to operate
normally and without errors.

I have managed to track the issue to the security API module that interfaces
the KOL software with the Xtrap "Anti-hack/cheat" routine in the KOL game
software.

Computer Associates Antivirus v8.4 is compatible with Vista as well and we
have had extremely good luck with it as well. It's small, lightweight on the
CPU and has been as secure for us and our customers as NOD has been. You can
get the Computer Associates software from:

He's probably a spammer hoping for a bumper harvest of marketable email
addresses from gullible responders. I know I certainly would accept any
sort of security advice from some who, in really well-intended, is so
ignorant of the way Usenet works.

I am curious why *no one* recommends spyware doctor - it is reputed to be
excellent.

Nod32 is a superb product. I do think you need to learn more about how
newsgroups work before you offer your services though... perhaps I'm being
unfair but the groups don't work the way you seem to think they do.
