I had originally posted about not having sound after the update.....I found
that I had to go back and install the original driver as well....for this
particular model you will want to go to the toshiba website look for Conexant
Audio Driver for Windows Vista
driver_audio_conexant_25564A.exe this fixed my problem!
 
Which all goes to show you shouldnt use winupdate for drivers - which has
been posted many times
Amend auto updates for critical updates only.
And if hw is working theres no need to install a driver update, unless to
fix a bug or give added functionality
