I am about to upgarde from Office 2000 to Office 2003, but when running the
disk it tells me that ity will remove the old versions of 2ooo before
installing the new 2003 programs. I am concerned that by deleteing the old
programs it will also delete all of my e-mails and Contact details. Please
can someone put my mind at rest and confirm that the insallation will save my
pst file and re install in onto Office 2003.

No cause for concern ;-). Your pst-file won't be deleted by upgrading to
Outlook 2003.
