If statement

Steved

Hello from Steved using xp office
I would like to know if found ie HALBERG goto end of
paragraph and input the word Star Way. I thought about
autotext. If autotext is what you believe is the best
solution, how does one input it in autotext so that if I
type HALBERG it inputs Star Way.
ps I have over three hundred words ie DECEIT to
Icelandic, COG HILL to Regal Flight etc.

Thank you.

Are we to understand that you want to locate paragraphs containing (eg) the
Word HALBERG and then on finding those paragraphs, type at the end of them
(eg) Star Way?

That being the case, a wildcard replace of
(*HALBERG*)(^13)
with
\1 Star Way\2

should do that. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/UsingWildcards.htm
