If I resend an email, the date & time sent are not updated to curr

Hello

If I re-use an email and resend it, when I look at it in my Sent folder, it
shows as being sent on the same date and time as the original email, not on
the date and time that I resent it.

Any ideas?

I just tried this with Outlook 2003 and the resend certainly did update the
Sent time stamp.
