If I have Windows XP can I view a PPT file in Punjabi?

I am trying to create a PPT file which will have images on the slides (not
text) and text in the notes field. The file is being translated to Punjabi
from English. I have received a test file in Punjabi to see if this will work
and have found that the Punjabi notes text only appears when the file is
viewed in Notes Pages but the Punjabi text does not appear in Normal View -
why is this? Is there any way that the Punjabi notes text will be able to be
viewed in Normal View?
Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Try this:

Choose View, Toolbars and click Outlining if it doesn't already have a checkmark
next to it.

At the bottom or far right of the Outlining toolbar, there's a button with a
kind of "A/A" icon. If you hover the mouse cursor over it, the tooltip is "Show
Formatting"

Click it.

See if your notes text in Normal view improves.
