IF Function??

What can I do so that when I type a certain number in a column it wil
give me another number? For example I have a list of temperatur
correction factors ranging from 60 to 89 degrees and I would like to b
able to input the temperature in one column and have excel input th
correction factor in another column. Can anyone help
