Either you failed to turn it on, or you've allowed True.com to
have pop-ups. Check your settings.

Check your settings to be sure you have pop-up blocking turned on. I
went to true.com and saw no pop-ups.

Pop-up blocking is on by default, so I guess Chief Suspect must have
turned it off at some point. To turn it back on, it's
Tools » Options » Web Features.
