iexplorer.exe

Every once on awhile when I shut down my computer I get a
pop up that says iexplorer.exe not responding if you end
now some data may be lost. If I let it time out the
computer shuts down fine and if I say end now it shuts
down fine also. There doesn't seem to be any efect to the
operating system. Is this caused by a program thats
running and didn't get the command to quit? I have XP
Professional, SP2 and IE6. Any help would be appreciated.

Scott,

Do you have any security programs that monitor IE ? Ex: BHO Demon,
Spyware Guard, etc. These help prevent against surreptitious Browser
Helper Object installations and *may* be the cause of the IE message if
you have multiple sec programs installed.
