iexplorer.exe- Application error

My PC XP have later start to respond the following when I shuting down the
Micosoft internet exporer.

A new window open with the following info.
iexplorer.exe- Application error
The instruction at"0x03b0c512" referenced memory at "0X00000000"
The memory could not be read
Click OK to terminate the program.

I see not other problem with the PC.

How can I recover from this problem,
Is it important to to fix this problem.

iexplorer.exe is not an XP file. Internet Explorer is iexplore.exe, one R.

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.
