Rick

I can access the Internet fine if I utilize Windows
Explorer or via Outlook. When I try in IE either via IP
address or URL, I see Page can not be displayed".

I have run various Adware,Spybot programs to no avail. I
have tried:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and all recommendations I
could find to no avail.

Any help is appreciated

I am experiencing the same problem. I have deleted,
reinstalled, ran every suggestion I could find from MS,
still no go.
I am currently using Mozzila with no problem at all.

I'm having the same problem. After removing spyware i
can't connect to anything in IE but netscape works fine.

Jennifer,

Tried the LSP Fix?. And check if the spyware remover has created undo files. [not sure which utility you used] Also, post the Operating System you're using.

I downloaded the very latest version of Spybot 1.2 and
after running it and deleting what it found, I am finally
working again!!!

I downloaed and ran the very latest version of Spybot 1.2
and this identified several progams missed in the older
version. When these programs were removed, I started to
work again!!!

LSP fix? Not sure what that is. I haven't tried using
spybot 1.2 yet but I will try it tomorrow. My operating
system is W2K. Thanks!

To save the next guy from the same pain as I just went through-- the
website for the freeware Spybot software is
http://www.safer-networking.org/

This is not the same as Spykiller - which scans for free, but charges
$40 to fix-- or Spyhunter which looks like it does the same.

Google has Spybot S&D as the first link-- but above that are ads for
the other 2 labeled "SpyBot - Free Download" and "Spybot: Free"
A pox on both their houses.

Jim
[I also dropped Google a line asking them if they didn't think
Spykiller & Spyhunter were infringing on copyright.]
