iexplore.exe error everything I click....

Everytime I open a (filename).pdf in internet explorer, I
get the following error message when i close the pdf:

iexplore.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x04cef45b" referenced memory
at "0x00000000." The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Why do I get this error message? I have the most current
service pack, and I even cleaned out cookies, internet
temp files, all offline content...

Please help.

try installing adobe acrobat reader, it is used for
reading pdf files.
