I have been getting the same error for some time. Not on any programme
especially,perhaps Windows I guess. I get different # in Ox7c9105f8
I did the following
cmd clicked o.k.
in black window typed sfc /scannow at prompt and then pressed enter
Scanning started to repair any damaged system files.
Still having the problem. Should I try it again?
Previously to this error showing up, I must say that while removing a
browser I had D/L to try, a window popped up asking if I was sure I wanted to
remove these folders, I said "yes" and it took half my PC away.
It was only 6 mos. old at the time. Dell, 80G, 512 Memory etc......
I did two restores, McAfee told me to do one, then Dell told me to do one.
Still most programmes were missing and I had to install from my CD's.
Should I install IE again even after two restores?
TIA
