iexplore error: X failed to get data for 'b'

I keep getting this error message whenever I open any window in Internet Explorer. I ran virus scan, rebooted, got updates from windows. Still getting same message. Help, please

This may be caused by a spyware called AdRoar. The steps said here applies:
